1. Pre-Order Cancellations
Changed your mind? No problem. You can cancel your pre-order at any time before your order ships and receive a full refund.

How to Cancel
Email support@getpulsyn.com with your order number and we'll process your cancellation within 1 business day. You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated.
2. Return Window
After receiving your Rune 1, you have 30 days from delivery to return it for any reason.

The return window starts from the delivery confirmation date, not the order date.
EU & UK Customers: Your Statutory Rights
Under EU and UK consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason. This is known as the "cooling-off period." Our 30-day return policy extends beyond this statutory minimum.
To exercise your withdrawal right, simply notify us by email before the deadline. You don't need to use a specific form.
3. Types of Returns
Different situations call for different processes. Here's how we handle each:
A. Change of Mind (Cool-Off)
Changed your mind, didn't like the fit, or just decided it's not for you? No problem.
- Window: 30 days from delivery
- Reason required: None
- Condition: Product must be functional with all accessories
- Packaging: Original packaging preferred but not required
- Return shipping: Free — we provide a prepaid label
- Refund: Full refund, no restocking fees
B. Dead on Arrival (DOA)
If your Rune 1 doesn't work when you receive it, we want to make it right immediately.
- Window: 30 days from delivery
- No troubleshooting required: Contact us for immediate replacement or refund
- Priority processing: We ship your replacement before receiving the defective unit
- Return shipping: Free — we provide a prepaid label
- Your choice: Full refund or replacement — whatever you prefer
C. Warranty Returns (Defective After Use)
If your Rune 1 develops issues during the warranty period, we've got you covered.
- Window: 2 years for Rune 1, 1 year for accessories
- Process: Contact support with a description of the issue
- Resolution: Repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion
- Return shipping: Free for all warranty claims

4. Return Condition Requirements
We keep our requirements simple:
- Ring included — The Rune 1 ring itself
- Accessories included — Charging dock and USB cable
- No intentional damage — Don't deliberately damage the product
- Factory reset completed — Clear your health data before returning (see Section 7)
That's it. We don't require original packaging. Normal wear from trying on the ring is perfectly fine. No restocking fees regardless of condition.
5. Size Exchanges
We understand ring sizing can be tricky. If your Rune 1 doesn't fit, we'll exchange it for a different size at no additional cost.
How It Works
- Email us with your order number and the size you need
- We'll ship the new size immediately — no waiting for your return
- Use the prepaid return label to send back the original size
- Return within 30 days of receiving the exchange
One free size exchange per order. Additional exchanges may be subject to return shipping costs.
6. How to Return
Returning your Rune 1 is simple:
- 1 Contact us
Email support@getpulsyn.com with your order number
- 2 Receive your return authorization
We'll respond within 2 business days with an RMA number and prepaid shipping label
- 3 Prepare your device
Back up your data, factory reset the ring (see Section 7 for privacy steps)
- 4 Package securely
Include the ring, charging dock, and USB cable. Use the original box if you have it.
- 5 Ship it back
Drop off at any carrier location using the prepaid label we provided
- 6 Receive your refund
We'll process your refund within 10 business days of receiving the return
7. Data & Privacy Before Return
Important: Back Up Your Data
The Rune 1 stores your health data locally on your device for privacy reasons. Due to our privacy-first architecture, we cannot recover data from returned devices — and we wouldn't want to access your health data anyway.
Before Returning Your Rune 1
- Sync your data — Ensure all health data is synced to your phone
- Export your data — Download a data export from the Pulsyn app (JSON/CSV formats available)
- Factory reset — Reset the ring via the app's settings menu
- Unpair from app — Remove the device from your Pulsyn account
By factory resetting before return, you ensure your personal health data is completely removed from the device.
8. Warranty Coverage
Every Rune 1 comes with our comprehensive limited warranty:

What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects — Issues arising from materials or workmanship
- Battery degradation — If battery capacity falls below 80% during warranty period
- Sensor malfunctions — Heart rate, SpO2, or temperature sensors not working correctly
- Software bugs affecting hardware — Firmware issues that prevent normal operation
- Charging issues — Ring not charging properly with included accessories
What's NOT Covered
- Physical damage — Drops, scratches, cracks from impact
- Water damage beyond IP68 rating — Submersion deeper than 1.5m or longer than 30 minutes
- Unauthorized modifications — Tampering or non-approved repairs
- Normal wear and tear — Surface scratches, finish wear from regular use
- Lost or stolen devices — Not covered under warranty
- Third-party accessories — Only Pulsyn accessories are covered
Your Statutory Rights
This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights, which may provide additional protections:
- European Union — 2-year minimum legal guarantee under EU consumer law
- United Kingdom — Consumer Rights Act 2015 protections
- Australia — Australian Consumer Law guarantees
Right to Repair
We support your right to repair. Self-repair with approved methods does not void your warranty, as long as the repair itself didn't cause the issue you're claiming.
9. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund:

Cryptocurrency Refunds

Any bank transfer fees are our responsibility, not yours.
10. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned:
- Gift cards — Once redeemed, cannot be refunded
- Digital content — Downloadable content once accessed
- Promotional/free items — Items received as part of promotions
- Intentionally damaged products — Items deliberately damaged by the customer
